Savar’s ‘Rani’ has been recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s smallest cow.
The world’s smallest cow ‘Rani’ died on August 19 due to ‘excessive gas accumulated in its stomach’.
The authority of the Guinness Book of Records sent a mail about the recognition on Monday afternoon.
Md Abu Sufian, CEO of Shekor Agro Industries Ltd at Charigram in Savar, confirmed this on Monday night.
The cow stood just 51cm (20 inches) high, and weighed 28kg.
